At the plenary meetings on 19 March 2009, The Verkhovna Rada of Ukraine scrutinized 44 issues of the agenda.
Due to the results of the scrutiny:
- 12 Laws and 11 Resolutions were adopted;
- 12 Bills were adopted as a basis at the First Reading;
- 1 Bill was forwarded for repeated First Reading;
- 2 Bills were forwarded for further elaboration;
- 5 Bills and 2 Draft Resolutions were rejected.
Due to the results of the scrutiny of President´s motions:
- 2 Laws were declined (the veto not overridden).
